HOW TAMING THE MIND ENRICHES OUR LIFE


Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche is the Abbot and meditation master of Samye Ling and Samye Dzong branches around the world. His vast experience of meditation coupled with his first hand knowledge of Western culture enables him to present essential teachings in a way that is relevant, practical and invaluable in modern day life.

Lama Rinpoche will explain how, in these tough times of spending cuts and spiritual poverty, we can enrich our lives where it really matters by taming the mind!
Course fee £15 or £12 Conc

Sunday 10AM Explanation of taking refuge with Ani Rinchen Khandro
Ani Rinchen Khandro will give an explanation on the meaning of taking Refuge and of the Refuge Ceremony itself. This will be of particular interest for those who are considering joining the Buddhist faith at this time or in the future.

11AM The refuge ceremony with Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche
Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche will conduct the Refuge ceremony. Everyone is welcome to attend but please let us know in advance if you wish to take Refuge at this time.
Explaination and Ceremony £7 or £5 Conc

2.30 PM Opening ceremony and welcome speech by Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche
Lama Yeshe Rinpoche will give his blessing and formally open the new Kagyu Samye Dzong Edinburgh Centre for the benefit of all beings.

3.00PM Shower of Blessings - Guru Rinpoche Tsok Puja
You are invited to celebrate this auspicious occasion by joining us for the Shower of Blessings Guru Rinpoche Puja and Offering Feast. Tsok offerings for the feast are welcome.
The Opening Ceremony and Tsok Puja are free of charge but all donations are gratefully received and will go towards fully equipping the new shrine room.

Everyone is welcome to all the above events.

Please note: Lama Yeshe Rinpoche will be available for personal interviews on Saturday 25th from 4.30 till 5.30pm and on Sunday from 10 till 11am. Please request in advance.
